While a student at Ohio State University, Dr. Miller completed externships at the Columbia Zoo and Aquarium, at the University of Georgia in the exotic animal speciality ward, and at Disney's Animal Kingdom. She returned home to South Carolina and became part of the Cleveland Park family in 2006 when she became a member of the staff at Cleveland Park East in Simpsonville. In 2010 she accepted a job at the Greenville Zoo as the Deputy Administrator for Animal Health. She enjoyed the challenge of caring for exotic species for just over 5 years. In 2015 we happily welcomed her back to work in our Greenville hospital three days a week. Her new schedule gives her more time to focus on her growing family and to train for the occasional marathon. She and her husband are a great team and very generous to open their home to foster children. With three children of their own, dogs, cats, birds and bunnies, theirs is a busy, lively, and happy household! Dr. Miller is an extremely kind, compassionate, and caring person. She loves pets and people and we know that we are very fortunate to have her on our staff.
